During the morning service, we provide a place in which children are safe, taught at an age appropriate level and encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus.  We run two classes, ages 2 – 5 and 6 – 11.  One Sunday a month, usually the second Sunday of the month, the 6 – 11 year olds join the main church service.

Our workers are screened and yearly attend Child protection training to review the policies and plans we have in place to protect our children.

We try to make learning at Children’s Church FUN!  We use curriculum which includes several activities that target the four learning styles – seeing, hearing, touching and moving.  Our typical Sunday morning at Children’s Church usually includes singing, a Bible story illustrated by flannel graph, handcrafts, games and/or drama and a snack of course.

Our goal is to bring our children to a place where they will choose to do the right things because they love Jesus and want to follow Him.

Women’s Ministries is a very active group of thirteen ladies. We support global missions and an orphanage in India. We meet once a month in homes where we discuss business, have devotion, prayer time, also refreshments and sharing together.

Not currently happening

On the last Wednesday of every month some folks from our congregation gather at High Crest Nursing Home to minister to the residents. We sing hymns and choruses together and enjoy special ministry in song as well as a short devotional from God’s word. Visiting shut-ins is also an important part of our ministry to seniors.
